What does your job as an IT Security Officer look like?

  • As an IT Security Officer at NN Belgium, you will play an active role in supporting the business objectives of our company. Our customers rely on trust, and you will help to maintain a high level of that trust.

  • You will ensure that all risk processes and procedures are correctly followed and executed according to the policies within NN Belgium.

  • You will manage external security assessments, including internal & external audits, and regulate inspections.

  • You will monitor new legislations, frameworks, and policies, and assist in introducing them to our company.

  • You will assist IT DevOps teams during outsourcing initiatives, focusing on risk management and regulatory notification.

  • You will maintain IT risk and security metrics and report on them regularly.

This is how you fit perfectly into our team

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent by experience.

  • You possess 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in an IT risk or compliance domain and you have general knowledge of information security domains & principles and risk governance processes (DORA, CISSP, CIAS, CISM,...).

  • Ideally, you have experience in the banking sector.

  • You speak and write fluently English and Dutch or French.

  • You are a good communicator who can engage both technical and non-technical audiences. You are also able to mentor less experienced “users” and/or peers.

  • You are able to work independently and are action- & result oriented. Above all you are a problem solver.
