What does your job as an IT Security Officer look like?
As an IT Security Officer at NN Belgium, you will play an active role in supporting the business objectives of our company. Our customers rely on trust, and you will help to maintain a high level of that trust.
You will ensure that all risk processes and procedures are correctly followed and executed according to the policies within NN Belgium.
You will manage external security assessments, including internal & external audits, and regulate inspections.
You will monitor new legislations, frameworks, and policies, and assist in introducing them to our company.
You will assist IT DevOps teams during outsourcing initiatives, focusing on risk management and regulatory notification.
You will maintain IT risk and security metrics and report on them regularly.
This is how you fit perfectly into our team
You have a Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent by experience.
You possess 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in an IT risk or compliance domain and you have general knowledge of information security domains & principles and risk governance processes (DORA, CISSP, CIAS, CISM,...).
Ideally, you have experience in the banking sector.
You speak and write fluently English and Dutch or French.
You are a good communicator who can engage both technical and non-technical audiences. You are also able to mentor less experienced “users” and/or peers.
You are able to work independently and are action- & result oriented. Above all you are a problem solver.
